The Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Research Group, is an interdisciplinary group of clinical, basic and technological research, composed by obstetricians, neonatologists, paediatricians, epidemiologists, psychologists, biologists, physicists, bioengineers and research nurses.
It includes several research lines on early diagnosis, mechanisms of disease and development of new strategies for the intervention on developmental diseases and congenital defects.
Specialists from all nationalities, interested in the Fetal Medicine or research may have the possibility to participate in several types of Fellowship programs in order to improve their clinical and research skills. The programs may have a duration of 6 months, one or two years, at the pre- or post - doctoral level, and may contemplate the presentation of a doctoral thesis. In selected cases the stage may be co-funded by us.
