Eduard Gratacós is Director of BCNatal national and international referral centre in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, result of the merger of Hospital Clínic and Hospital Sant Joan de Deu de Barcelona. He is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Previously, he was Head of the Fetal Medicine Units of the University Hospital in Leuven, Belgium (1999-2000) and the Hospital Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona (2001-2004). Member of the Board of Directors and Scientific Chair of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology (2006-2014).

Francesc Figueras is a senior specialist and the head of the Fetal Growth and Preeclampsia Unit. He has a Master in Methodology in Health Sciences. Author of 46 articles in international scientific journals with impact factor he has published 7 chapters in textbooks on fetal medicine. He has been invited speaker at 135 courses, conferences and congresses. He is the Secretary of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Section at the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands Section. Finally he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Barcelona

Bienvenido Puerto is the Head of the Ultrasound Section-Fetal Medicine Area at Maternal-fetal Medicine Department, Senior Consultant at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona and Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Member of the Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS). Member of the Board of Directors of the Ultrasound Section at the Spanish Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Director of 2 doctoral thesis, he has published over 75 scientific papers in international journals with impact factor

Jose Maria Martinez is a consultant at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department of the Hospital Clinic Barcelona. He is responsible of the Fetal Cardiology Unit, and co-responsible of Multiple Pregnancy Unit, Malformative Diseases and Fetal endoscopic surgery and therapy Program. He has an experience of over 5 years and 200 interventions in fetal surgery. Director of 3 doctoral thesis, he has published 61 peer reviewed papers in several international journals with impact factor. Scientific reviewer for the main scientific international and national journals in his specialty.

Montse Palacio is a consultant at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department where she works since 2001. She holds a PhD degree in Medicine, and Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. She was awarded a Fellowship for a subspecialization in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University College of London by “La Caixa”. Head of the Obstetric and High Risk Obstetrics Wards and co-responsible of the Fetal Monitoring Unit, she created in 2006 the Prematurity Unit for the management of patients at risk.

Antoni Borrell is Senior Consultant of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and Associate Professor of the University of Barcelona. Trained in Fetal Medicine at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital in London in 1989, he completed two fellowship periods  at the Karolinska Institute Hospital (Stockholm) and the Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston). Head of the the Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Hematology Unit, he has worked with a multidisciplinary team to optimize the Prenatal Diagnosis.

Member of the Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Research Group, IDIBAPS - Universitat de Barcelona. She has experience in cardiovascular assesment. Member of Fetal Surgery team with more than 120 surgeries as first assistant. She has published 20 scientific papers in international journals with impact factor.

Teresa Cobo is a specialist Doctor of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Service, Premature Unit at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona and member of the Fetal-Medicine and perinatal Research Group, IDIBAPS-University of Barcelona. Her experience is focused in the prediction and management at premature births, in particular, predicting intra-amniotic infection/inflammation. Her work has originated a doctoral thesis (2009 and she has published different articles in international journals with impact factor.

Olga Gómez is Senior Specialist at de Maternal-Fetal Department of the Hospital Clínic Barcelona since 2007. Fetal Cardiology specialist, she is also a member of the Malformative Fetal Diseases Unit. Mar Bennasar is a specialist Doctor of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. She is specialist in Fetal Echocardiography. PhD in Medicine, she has published more than 15 scientific articles in international journals with impact factor and participate as a speaker in courses and national congresses.

Sandra Hernández Aguado is a specialist Doctor of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. She is co-responsible for the Obstetrical Intensive Care Unit and is part of the PARTClinic Programme. As well as is a referent Obstetrician at the Perinatal Psychiatry Unit. She holds a master in “Basis, Procedures and Techniques Applied to Critical Patient Management and Emergencies” by the University of Barcelona. Member of The August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS).
